Worship

Collective worship is an important and valued part of our school day at Wouldham All Saints Church of England Primary School. We follow Rochester Diocese planning Fresh Approach to Collective Worship, which supports schools in seeking to create collective worship which becomes the ‘heartbeat’ of the school.

The children gather in an act of collective worship every day.

Every Wednesday our children and staff come together for Key stage worships where Flying High certificates are awarded, celebrating the academic achievements of our children.

On Fridays, the focus of our collective worship is on our school’s core values, derived from the Fruits of the Spirit as explained in Galatians 5:
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Worship gives us time to praise God as Christians, reflect on our lives and think about the wider world and all of the diversity found within it.
